Mary Anderson
Mary F. Anderson is an attorney in private practice specializing in Criminal Defense, Family Law and Victim Rights. Mary is a former Deputy District Attorney from Deschutes County, Oregon with 15 years of prosecution experience and over 100 jury trials. She is known for her cross-examination skills and directing and cross-examining expert witnesses.
Ms. Anderson worked closely with the Drug Evaluation and Classification program during the program’s infancy in Oregon and successfully argued the motion that led to the admissibility of Drug Recognition Expert Testimony in Oregon. She frequently taught at DRE School, and has presented on DUII prosecution and investigation at the National DRE Conferences, the National Advocacy Center, Protecting Lives Saving Futures Conferences, and for law enforcement and prosecutors in a number of states across the nation.
Ms. Anderson served two of Oregon’s Governors as a member of the Oregon Governor’s Advisory Committee on DUII from 2001 to 2009. Mary was honored as DUII prosecutor of the year in 1998.
